Overview:

Enjoy a safari filled with three of Africa’s greatest spectacles, the Wildebeest Migration, the beautiful and magnificent Victoria Falls and one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in Africa in the Okavango Delta. Begin your safari in Masai Mara, where you will be able to witness the millions of wildebeest and zebra and their attempt to cross the Mara river in a battle of survival (in high season). The Masai Mara is known for it’s abundant wildlife and endless plains. From here, travel to Zimbabwe to view the mighty Victoria Falls. End your safari in the maze of sparkling lagoons, meandering channels and overgrown islands within Botswana’s Okavango Delta. Truly a once in a lifetime experience to see some of the best of Africa!

Day-by-day Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrive to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Met & privately transferred to Hemingways Nairobi. Check in for 1 night at Hemingways, B&B basis.

Day 02: Private transfer Hemingways to Wilson Airport. Fly on lodge hopper flight from Wilson to Maasai Mara: Air Kenya; WIL – Musiara Airstrip (Governors); 10:30/11:10.

Please Note: Luggage limit for your light aircraft lodge hopper flights are 15 kg. per person including hand luggage in soft-sided bags.

Met by an Il Moran representative and transfer in a 4×4 safari vehicle to Il Moran. Check in for 4 nights, FI basis.

Stay includes: Musiara Airstrip transfers, accommodation, meals in camp, selected wine, beer and soft drinks and laundry. Activities included: 1 walking safari and 3 game drives per day. Activities at an extra cost: Masai Manyatta visit or Hot Air Balloon Safari.

Day 03 – 05: On safari in the Maasai Mara with game drives shared with other camp guests. Overnight at Il Moran, FI basis.

Day 06: Transfer with an Il Moran representative to the airstrip and fly from the Maasai Mara to the Wilson Airport in Nairobi: Musiara – WIL; 11:15/13:00.

Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be met and privately transferred to the Ole Sereni Hotel. Check in for 1 night, B&B basis.

Day 07: Private transfer in early AM to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and fly from Nairobi (NBO) to Livingstone, Zambia (LVI): 16SEP KQ782 NBO/LVI 07:35/09:50.

Upon arrival in Livingstone, clear customs, immigration and collect your luggage. You will be met and privately transferred across the border to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and to Little Gorges. Check in for 2 nights, on a FI basis.

Stay includes: all meals, local brand drinks, 2 scheduled safari activities daily, park fees and laundry. Lodge activities include: one guided visit to Victoria Falls which utilizes the one return shuttle per stay (includes entrance fee), tour of the craft village, local village visit, school tour (not available during school holidays), evening traditional dancing show, black eagle viewing with sundowners and snacks, nature walk along the edge of the gorge with snacks and a sundowner cruise (river usage fee included).

Day 08: Enjoy a day at your leisure to enjoy the activities on offer at Little Gorges. Overnight at Little Gorges, FI basis.

Day 09: After breakfast at Little Gorges (included), you will be met and privately transferred across the border to Kasane, Botswana. Upon arrival in Kasane, fly on light aircraft lodge hopper flight to Little Vumbura, arriving in time for your afternoon game drive. Check in for 4 nights, on a FI basis.

Stay includes: all meals, local brand drinks, 2 scheduled safari activities daily, park fees and laundry. Camp activities include: day and night game drives shared with other camp guests, bush walks (seasonal and subject to availability of a walking guide), boat and mokoro excursions, birding and fishing (Mar-Dec).

Please note: All luggage (check-in and carry on) is strictly restricted to 20kgs (44lbs) per person including hand luggage in a soft bag with no frames or rigid structures.

Day 10 – 12: Enjoy 3 full days on safari in the Okavango Delta with twice daily safari activities. All meals and overnights at Little Vumbura, on a FI basis.

Day 13: After breakfast and a morning safari activity (time permitting), you will be transferred by a Little Vumbura representative to the airstrip. Fly on light aircraft lodge hopper flight from Little Vumbura to Maun.

Please note: All luggage (check-in and carry on) is strictly restricted to 20kgs (44lbs) per person including hand luggage in a soft bag with no frames or rigid structures.

On arrival in Maun, fly on scheduled South African Airways flight to Johannesburg: SA8303; MUB/JNB; 12:30/14:10.

Upon arrival in Johannesburg, connect with international flights and depart for home.
