Cape Town - mid / Botswana - high. This is an excellent time to visit Botswana when the Delta flood waters have reached their peak and have started to recede. Water holes are drying up and game is spotted fairly easily as the vegetation dries up as well. Good possibility to see predator interaction with plains game. Excellent weather for game activities.

Cape Town - high / Botswana - low. Fantastic weather in Cape Town with warm, sunny days and a southeasterly wind. Weather in Botswana is hot but excellent time for game viewing as the water holes are drying up. Savute area particularly interesting with lots of lion interaction with elephant.

- Cape Town accommodations may vary, and different lodges/camps may be used in Botswana but will all be of a similar standard. The three main areas in Botswana may be visited in different order depending on the departure date.
